At Cherie Jewels, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you may initiate a return within 14 calendar days of receiving your item. We are pleased to offer a refund for any unsuitable items that are returned to us in accordance with the policy outlined below.
Returns Guidelines
• All items must be returned new, unused, and in their original condition and packaging within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your order.
• This includes any jewellery boxes, thank you cards, dust bags, and tags provided as part of the original packaging.
• Returns that are damaged, soiled, worn, altered or returned without original packaging may not be accepted and may be sent back to you.
• Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping cost. We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage.
Non-Returnable Items
Pierced Earrings
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on worn pierced earrings.
Each pair of earrings includes a tamper-evident seal at the back. If this seal has been removed, broken, or tampered with, the item will be deemed used and no return will be accepted. This is to ensure that all customers receive unworn, hygienic jewellery.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Sale Items
Items purchased on sale or at a promotional discount are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Customised Products
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for items that have been custom-made to your specifications.
How to Return an Item
1. Contact us to inform us of your intention to return and to obtain return instructions.
2. Carefully repackage the item in its original packaging, ensuring all accessories (e.g. jewellery boxes, thank you cards, dust bags, and tags) are included. For earrings, please ensure the tamper-evident seal remains intact.
3. Ship the item to us using a trackable delivery method, and keep proof of postage for your records.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item and confirm it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your payment provider and financial institution.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
Items are considered faulty if they arrive damaged, or if a manufacturing fault becomes apparent.
You have the right to reject faulty goods and request a replacement or refund within 30 days of receipt.
If a fault occurs within two months of purchase, you are entitled to request a free repair or replacement.
