For many brides, the perfect headpiece isn't found in a catalog, it’s grown from a shared vision. When Marina first reached out to me, she described a dream-like setting for her special day: a wedding at a lighthouse by the Mediterranean Sea. Her vision was one of "Spanish elegance", romantic and classic, filled with white flowers, lush greenery, and touches of baby blue.
Marina was immediately drawn to the organic, irregular beauty of our collection. She felt that the natural, untamed aesthetic of our Keshi pearls perfectly mirrored the coastal spirit of her wedding. Her goal was to translate that effortless, delicate texture into a bespoke Tiara that would complement her stunning Pronovias lace veil.
Designing with Texture: A Choice of Two Visions
Right from the start, I wanted to provide Marina with two distinct design directions to help her visualise the possibilities.
The first concept focused on extreme lightness, using transparent fine tulle as a base to create the illusion of pearls floating in mid-air—a whisper-thin design for an ethereal look.

The second concept, which Marina ultimately fell in love with, was inspired by the fluid lines of the ocean. This design utilised multiple strands of varying-sized pearls, intricately twisted together to mimic rolling waves. This approach allowed the pearls themselves to become the very architecture of the piece, offering a more sculpted, textured feel.

The Craftsmanship: Building the Bloom
The creation of the Tiara was a meticulous, step-by-step journey of precision and patience. We began by engineering the metal base, first determining the perfect height to ensure the Tiara would balance Marina’s features and her bridal veil with absolute harmony.

Once the foundation was set, the process of "weaving the seafoam" began. I hand-strung hundreds of pearls into separate strands of different sizes, which were then twisted and layered onto the custom base. Each pearl was individually secured to the structure, building up a rich, textured surface.

The soul of the piece, however, lies in the signature miniature handmade pearl flowers. In a departure from traditional bridal symmetry, Marina specifically requested an asymmetrical arrangement. She envisioned five blooms scattered irregularly across the Tiara, a deliberate choice that gave the final masterpiece a modern, organic, and truly high-fashion feel.

Review from the Bride
There is no greater reward than hearing a bride has found her "dream piece." After receiving her Tiara, Marina shared her joy:
"I just wanted to let you know that I am absolutely in love. It is exquisite and so well worked. It looks perfect with my outfit and I cannot wait to wear it. It’s perfect thank you so much for everything! ".
