One of the most common things I hear from brides is: "I know how I want to feel, but I have no idea what the jewellery should actually look like."
If this sounds like you, you are not alone. When Charlotte first reached out to me for her bridal jewellery, she wanted something delicate—fine gold chains and little pearls—but was struggling to find exactly what she was looking for.
Instead of a strict design brief, she sent me a Pinterest board. She wrote:
"I hope it doesn’t sound too weird, but I kind of want to feel like I’ve stepped out of a Botticelli painting! Nymph vibes. I'm really open to your ideas and would love to maybe incorporate some of your pearl flowers, just on a smaller scale."
This is exactly why I love the bespoke process. You don't need to be a jewellery designer to work with one. You just need to share your dream, your mood board, or even a painting you love and it’s my job to translate that feeling into wearable art.
Crafting the 'Nymph' Aesthetic: Miniature Blooms & Organic Movement
To capture the essence of a Botticelli painting, the entire set needed to feel organic, incredibly light, and almost fluid.
When Charlotte asked for a smaller scale of our signature Pearl Flower, it wasn't a matter of simply 'resizing' a design. Because every natural pearl is unique, I had to meticulously sift through our collection to hand-pick naturally smaller, delicately shaped Keshi pearls that would form a perfectly proportioned five-petal bloom.
During our design consultations, I wanted to give her options, so I also designed a completely new concept: a tiny 'cluster flower' created by intricately weaving 2-3mm seed pearls into a delicate sphere.
This custom bloom became the beautiful focal point for both her necklace and her earrings. But to truly bring the "nymph" aesthetic to life, the earrings needed movement.
For the dangling elements beneath the floral studs, I wanted to capture the untamed, organic beauty of a mythical forest. I didn't just stop at one idea; I designed three completely different variations for the earring drops, all revolving around the concepts of cascading pearls, irregular placement, and organic movement.

The Necklace: A Delicate Y-Drop
While the woven cluster design was beautiful, Charlotte’s heart remained set on our classic five-petal silhouette. Because the necklace and earrings were to be worn as a cohesive bridal set, the necklace naturally took its visual cues from the earring design she had just chosen. I designed two different necklace variations for Charlotte to consider, and she ultimately fell in love with the second option.

With a few final, delicate refinements, the ethereal treasure Charlotte had envisioned was finally brought to life.

Review from the Bride
Translating a "vibe" into a physical set of jewellery is always a deeply collaborative and rewarding journey. When the finished set finally arrived at Charlotte’s door, she sent me this wonderful message:
"I just wanted to let you know I received the jewellery safely yesterday and I am absolutely in love with it! Oh my goodness it’s just perfect, thank you so so much."
